Wilson SIGNALBOOST Cellular/PCS Amplifier Kit with Mini Magnetic Antenna for Vehicles
The SignalBoost Kit contains both the amplifier, 6' of cable and mini magnetic mount antenna - everything you need! The SIGNALBOOST (inline) Bi-directional Amplifier improves coverage in areas with no signal or low signal strength. The unit amplifies both 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular and PCS signals providing up to 3 Watts of output power on the 800MHz band and 2 Watts of output power on the 1900MHz (PCS) Band. Works with all Cellular/PCS Service Providers except iDEN (Nextel/Southern LINC/Mike)
How the unit functions: The 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the antenna. The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your phone through the included passive coupler adapter (attaches to the phone using velcro). When the phone transmits, the signal is sent to the amplifier through the adapter and then amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside antenna.
Compatible carriers include: Verizon, AT&T GSM/GPRS/TDMA, Cingular, Alltel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cellular One, US Cellular, Midwest Wireless, Qwest. Not compatible with Nextel (IDEN)
